ラグビーやチョコレートが好きな方へ、ワクワクな報告があります！

もう知っているかもしれませんが、NZのお菓子会社「ウィッタカーズ」が特別なラグビーワールドカップのチョコレートを作ってくれました

二つの味があって、国のそれぞれの有名な飲み物で作られました。１つは日本の抹茶とカラメルピスタチオ味のホワイトチョコレートと、もう一つはフラットホワイト（NZのコーヒー）味のチョコレートです。抹茶のは味は、ニュージーランド人の好みに合わせたようです。ピスタチオも入っていて、抹茶の味はそんなに強くはないです。

ニュージーランドの味は『HOMEホーム』、日本の味は『AWAYアウェイ』と書いてあります。

ニュージーランドで試合が行われたら、「ホームゲーム」で、逆は「アウェイ」と言います。ラグビーワールドカップの時は、対するチームの服と似ていたら、違う色の服を着て試合をします。今年、日本に帰る予定だったら、本当にいいお土産だと思います。チョコレートは１００グラムで、ラグビーの一試合を見るなら、食べきるのにちょうど良いサイズですね

To all the rugby and chocolate fans out there, we have an exciting blog post for you today!

You might have already heard, but New Zealand’ｓ favourite chocolate company has bought out a special limited edition chocolate for the Rugby World Cup.

There are two flavours and they both centred around well known beverages from each country. The New Zealand flavour is Flat White Chocolate, and the Japanese flavour is Matcha and Caramelised Pisatchios in White Chocolate. The Matcha flavour seems to have been changed to suit the average Kiwi’s taste, as they added pistachios and the Matcha is quite subtle.

On both of the chocolates, you’ll see Home and Away written vertically. This is a rugby term that you should know ahead of the Rugby World Cup. Generally speaking, if a game is held in New Zealand, it’s called a ‘home’ game. However, during the RWC, if the team we are versing has a similar uniform, the All Blacks will wear a different coloured uniform. In this case, it’s called an ‘away’ game.

If you are planning to go back to Japan this year, it would make the perfect omiyage! Or if you’re not, then they are the perfect size (100g) to eat all by yourself while watching the big games! 😉
